[Pico's Date]

I've never clicked on a game so fast in my life👁👁

Thank you for making this game, this was the best dating sim experience I had! I can tell that you focused on the Pico part of the game before the dating sim part!
I messed around a bit with the options several times before I actually made an attempt to...*ahem*...rizz him up😘 So far I have managed to literally drink Pico, watch him explode via Darnell's arson shenanigans, get held at gunpoint over mac n cheese, leave me over mac and cheese, had a 10 ft pole shove so far up me somehow, annihilate gingers, and made the universe low quality into nothingness! Man, I need more dating sim games to be as chaotic an unpredictable as this one! ;) And the dialogue, as well as the 2nd person monologue, was so entertaining!

I finally got with him after several minutes of screwing around. Legends say that I'm still screaming in excitement from being kissed on the cheek by the king of Newgrounds himself🧡💚
I believe that you succeeded in making this the best Pico game and dating sim game! Congrats on getting a front-page and a 3rd place award!✨

EDIT: I'm playing this again at 12am and I have chosen the "ants rule" option, LMAO!!! Was not expecting that to happen!😂
Aaaaannnd I just got the bad ending for the final option💔

((Sidenote: I've been getting a gray wall of text about a database error warning sometimes when the options come up. It appears for a 1-2 second period and then disappears. Not sure if that's a problem with the game or it's just my dumb computer acting up. Either way, it didn't ruin the game experience for me but it was confusing to look at.))

...I picked the Kraft mac n cheese first because that's what brand I was given to eat for the majority of my life, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was an unpopular mac n cheese brand😭 Please have mercy on me, I'll do better for Pico🙏💔

Hello! I'm glad to hear that you had found my silly little first game of a dating sim! I noticed that there was an absurd lack of not only Pico dating sims where he IS the date-able character, but also games that were in a more Pico style/set in his universe. Needless to say, I'm also super tired of the typical dating sim tropes and whatnot, so I figured to spend a year torturing myself to make most of the game on my own! (Don't get me wrong though Regz was a huge help with the music too ;0;) I've been getting a lot of positive comments and good feedback on it so far, and I plan to keep as much of it as I can in mind when I go to make another game like this! :3

I hope you've been able to get a good kick out of your playthrough. As happy as I am to have my game get daily 3rd place, front paged, 5th place for Pico Day winners, and even be considered for best of the month is so much more than what I had bargained for. To be fair, I would've been happy with just the daily 3rd place! XD So really I have people like you to thank for the opportunity.

All in all, the writing gave me a good chuckle while I was making it. I wanted everything to either be taken literally or come out of a left turn that you weren't expecting. And I really do want to make another Pico dating sim like it, but it might take longer than a year. :[

Also! the issue you experienced might be game engine lag. I was a little too ambitious to have Pico be made up of 5 sprites at a time. It's really good at making him a lil more expressive, but I think that's what also causes things to pixelate. Maybe it's the same thing for the options?? I'll try to look into it at some point in time if I remember. Thanks again! <3

(P.S. Sorry! I like to think that Pico is picky about his mac and cheese! He can't get past the powder cheese that Kraft has, plus its overrated to him. I could go on about a whole list of other reasons as to why he's against it too but I need to get headed to sleep myself. :,])
